Plot Synopsis
A spy is unveiled.
Plot Summary
Shauna and Natalie are catching up in Twelve Forward when Captain Smith, Marty, Belinda, Adani, and Iadgo enter and accuse Shauna of being Darth Pestilous and a spy. This list of charges include the attempted murder of 46 and Shauna insists that she can fix him and clear her name. The Captain gives her one last chance to do this but it must be from the Brig.
Elsewhere, aboard the Agrivator?, Darth Angrius and Darth Malice receive a signal to move to a certain set of coordinates and open a comm channel. They speculate that it might be the Sith who helped Angrius back to the Dark Side and head for the coordinates.
Back on the Muffin, Natalie comes to visit Shauna in the brig but as Shauna spouts how upset she is her friends turned on her and how glad she is Natalie is still on her side, Natalie reveals her true colors and a familiar lightsaber appears behind her back. She makes quick work of the guards and Force pulls a gun to herself to make it look like she shot Shauna when Shauna pulled a lightsaber on her and tried to escape.
Natalie reveals that she is former President Palpatine's sister and that both were trained by Koz before he was betrayed by Nicodimous and she went on to receive training from Master Tuggywuggylon who was also a practitioner of the Dark Side know as Darth Twilight. Natalie then reveals that she was once known as Darth Shadow but became Darth Pestilous to further hide her identity, even from her brother. Acting as a spy she had attempted to push both Marty and Angrius to the Dark Side, through manipulation of the Tuggywuggylon hologram on the holodeck, failing with the first and succeeding with the second. Her work as a spy for the Sith only being hindered by Skip's exceptional skill with the ship's communications.
Once Natalie had finished her monologue Shauna revealed that it had all been a ruse and Marty had discovered the truth about the transmissions Natalie had doctored to implicate Shauna. They were not on the brig but on a holodeck, Shauna wasn't in chains, and the guards had been holograms. Captain Smith, Marty, Belinda, Adani, and Iadgo had been watching and were now ready to fight.
Marty, laments that he had been romantically pursuing an 80 year old, regardless of how she looked, and she commented that while the Dark Side ravaged her brother's form, she used it to keep herself looking young. After using the conversation to distract them Natalie Force Shoved the group and ran out.
With Belinda in hot pursuit Natalie quickly makes her way to an airlock and while Belinda thinks she is trapped Natalie simply trips the release and sends herself out into space, into the open cargo hold of a cloaked ship.
The crew lamented losing her, but were happy that she was gone and they go to confront the holodeck version of Master Tuggywuggylon. He attempts to deny things at first but once he realizes he's in trouble he ignites his lightsaber to fight them. Belinda quickly dispatches him and Shauna sets about seeing how the program was altered. While she works Shauna reveals that she had already fixed 46 around the time that Marty had worked out who the spy really was, so with the corroborating stories they were able to trick Natalie into revealing herself.
Master Tobias laments to Belinda that he never knew about Tuggywuggylon's conversion to the Dark Side and how stupid he feels for missing that both Koz and Tuggywuggylon were Sith as well as Natalie. Belinda does her best to comfort him and they look to the dark future ahead.
On the Agrivator Darth Pestilous takes command and Darth Angrius and Darth Malice bow before her, their new Master.
