War Hog Part I: The Devil You Know
Plot Synopsis
The crew must finally deal with the Remulan threat.
Plot Summary
With the war with the Remulans escalating and reports that they were currently being lead by a super intelligent psychopath the Alliance decided to provide the Muffin with their own Pyschopath. With Kramer on board the crew braced for the worst and Belinda instructed the Captain to keep him away from Alice, to which he wholeheartedly agreed.
With worries of Kramer's control and a battle strategy in mind Captain Smith ordered Marty to take control of the ship's saucer section and split the ship into two. After assign crew members to assist Marty they determine the location of the battle bridge is the bridge that they are on and that they have been commanding the ship from the wrong bridge the entire time.
Marty, TAG, Ensign Wright, Ensign Nerok, Lt. O'Riley, and Alice settled into the real bridge and prepare to separate the ship. With that accomplished Captain Smith has Samuel Kramer brought to the battle bridge. After studying Remulan maneuvers Dr. Kramer created several responses for the ship and had them sent to the Muffin to put into their computer, and the first thing he did was make sure they were uploaded, then he complimented the Captain on his caution of separating the ship in fear of him.
After separating the ship they quickly come upon the Remulans and Captain Smith lets them take the first shot. Rather than letting Kramer start off the battle Captain Smith fought the Remulans with his own tactics first, actively getting them into the trap the Remulans had set. Crippling the first ship Captain Smith gave them a chance to surrender, when they did not he ordered their destruction, which prompted the Remulans to spring their trap and decloak the rest of the vessels they had waiting.
Answering a hail from the lead ship they finally came face to face with the Secret Weapon who revealed he had killed the Remulan Empress and was therefore in charge. After some witty banter the lead Remulan ship fired straight through the Muffin's shields and Captain Smith decided it was high time to let Dr. Kramer earn his way.
