Koz

"Yes, it's a genetic trait among my people to have wood growing out of our ass"--Koz on his (fake) peg leg.

Koz was a Dycovian former Jedi Master and known user of the dark side of the force. He trained President Palpatine in the ways of the Sith as Darth Illusius. He was killed by Master Belinda Reines. He was rumored to be an apprentice of Darth Twilight.

Biography

Early Childhood

Little is known of Koz's birth and childhood, only that he was born on Dycovia and that at some point he encountered and began to train with a Sith Lord, very possibly the mysterious Darth Twilight.

Secondary Education

As Koz matured in the ways of the the Force he became adept at hiding his true intentions and abilities and when he joined the Jedi order they had no idea he had spent most of his life training as a Sith. He continued to work both as a Jedi and a Sith without the Jedi suspecting him, neither his Master Tuggywuggylon nor his friend Roland Tobias suspected Koz was anything other than a Jedi.
During this time Koz began to form a plan to overthrow his master, he found and trained two children, calling them Darth Mysterious and Darth Shadow. He trained them separately so that they would not know his true intentions but he was grooming both to be canon fodder against his master.
Koz had his apprentice cultivate the persona of Darth Mysterious and spread discord throughout the galaxy. On one occasion he planted Mysterious on a Deep Core planet known as Zerka, and when two Jedi were sent to find him Koz volunteered to go with them to add support. Instead Koz helped Mysterious kill both master and padawan and returned alone telling the tale of the horrible Darth Mysterious.
During his training of Darth Mysterious, his apprentice realized that he was to become fodder and turned on his master, rather than killing him he exposed his master to the Jedi and they believed him to be the Darth Mysterious they were tracking for years. Free to move on his own Darth Mysterious changed his Sith name to Darth Sidious and in public he was known as Nicodimus Palpatine.
After his betrayal, the Jedi Council showed mercy and Koz was sentenced to exile on Zerka, the same world he had visited before with Darth Mysterious and had succeeded in killing a master and apprentice Jedi. The council attributed this first killing to Darth Mysterious and exiled Koz to the same planet for that reason. In addition the tech dead nature of the world made it an ideal location to isolate Koz from doing further damage.

2350 and Beyond

When Belinda Reines came to Zerka searching for Koz, the Dycovian tricked her and nearly killed her before even engaging her in combat. Belinda gained the upper hand, ripped several important pieces of information violently from his mind and when she turned her back on him to leave he attacked and misjudged her lightsaber. Koz died complimenting Belinda on her deviousness.


Personality Traits

Koz was cold and calculating with a strange sense of humor. He admired what his master had taught him but sought to destroy his master so that he could become the dominant Sith in the galaxy, he was never able to achieve this due to his own apprentices.

Associations

Koz's master may have been the fabled Darth Twilight, who's identity was never revealed.
Koz trained Darth Sidious in the ways of the Dark Side and if Palpatine ever respected Koz it changed when he realized he was being trained to be canon fodder. Palpatine betrayed Koz.
Koz trained at least one other Sith, known only as Darth Shadow.
Koz served the Jedi under Master Tuggywuggylon and pretended to be good friends with Roland Tobias.
