Plot Synopsis
Shauna must deal with an unexpected problem as the Muffin passes through the Necron Nebula.
Plot Summary
As the Ship passes into the Necron Nebula Shauna awakes to find things dark and non responsive. After getting dressed the heads out to find out what's gone wrong and is instantly attacked by a zombie. Fending off the zombie leads her to fall onto the floor, but luckily Shauna keeps a gun? secured under the table in her quarters. She shoots the zombie in the head and arms herself properly before heading out into the ship. Once out and about in the ship she comes across Natalie being attacked by zombies and makes quick work of them before the two of them try to figure out what's going on. Shauna takes Natalie first to the armory to load up on weapons as she is not willing to give up any of her own, and then they head to Sickbay to see if Belinda might be able to help them. All they find in sickbay is a monster begging them to kill it.
Once out of sickbay they run into a horde of zombies and quickly decide the route to the bridge is out and it would be best to head for engineering. Shauna attempts to gain control of the ship from engineering but is distracted by a strange hissing noise. The noise turns out to be coming from another hideous monster which may or may not be Lieutenant Denobi. The monster chases the girls into the maintenance tunnels and they quickly make their way to another deck where they find themselves surrounded by zombies again. Shauna leads them through the waves to zombies to a transporter room and the monster pounds on the door as they make their plans.
Before the monster can burst through the door, Shauna transports them to the bridge where they find another horrific scene with Bob dead in his chair. As he rises up to attack them Shauna gets a message from Bob over the intercom and it becomes apparent that the whole scenario was a holodeck simulation Shauna and Natalie were using to relax. They head back to work and agree that next time Natalie will chose the simulation and that it had better be better than her last choice.
