Plot Synopsis
The search for Robin continues on Balcor Station.
Plot Summary
Having reached the Kessel Sector the Captain orders Marty to take TAG and Johnny to Balcor Station and see if he can figure out who kidnapped Robin from a gang of smugglers. The three must change out of their Alliance uniforms as not to be recognized as members of that organization.
They are greeted to the station, which is explicitly stated to be a seedy place. Johnny proceeds to hit on the first girl he sees, who happens to be the well armored Samus Aran. She kicks him very hard in the crotch and while he lays in pain on the ground Marty and TAG discuss where he might have gone wrong.
While Johnny deals with his problem, Marty and TAG discuss how they are going to begin searching for Robin and when Johnny returns instead of being helpful he goes off to hit on Samus again. Samus then confides in her friend about her dating woes. They resolve to continue the discussion later over a Snarky Shark burger while Samus goes to Victoria's Secret Military Weapons Depot, where she suffers some scrutiny by Vicki about her ex.
Samus and her friend talk over a burger and it comes out that her friend's Space Pirate crew has Robin in their possession and Red Beard is teaching him to speak pirate.
Marty, Johnny, and TAG resolve to go see Spyder the resident cyborg crime boss, but Marty has some apprehension over it. Spyder introduces them around but Marty gets down to business and they discover Spyder is only willing to sell them Robin. Marty tries a couple of Jedi tricks before resorting to pulling the legs out from under Spyder. This speeds up negotiations and Robin joins the crew again.
The episode continues with interludes of Mark the grad student dealing with his committee for his qualifying exams, a brief scene of Darth Vader and his son dealing with some family issues, some fun with Gary in the kitchen, some violence with Belinda and Dr. Walters, and a couple of vairations on a theme with Bob and Johnny. Lastly we learn of TAG's true biology and Jeff the Ninja and Red Shirt celebrate christmas the Space Ninja way.
