Plot of No Return
Plot Synopsis
Belinda finds an Ancient Computer? and faces Koz. Marty leads the crew to recover the Captain.
Plot Summary
In the chasm on Zerka Belinda makes her way through the cave she has found and stumbles upon some strange control panel that appears to have been built by the Ancients. She accesses the computer and is able to see the entire system. She notes that it is responsible for the dampening field around the planet and proceeds to shut it off. Belinda then contacts Zeeo and has the droid bring the ship around and wait for her orders. Belinda then climbs back up the wall of the chasm and sneaks up behind Koz while he is still throwing taunts down at her. They fight briefly before she suggests that she can level the playing field in her favor and summons ZeeO who blasts a hole in the side of the mountain and reveals the outside world. Koz, stunned that technology now works, runs to the edge and when Belinda follows him a piece of mountain breaks off and the two plummet on it, still locked in combat.
Just before the rock hits the ground both of them jump off and resume their fight on the ground, Belinda insisting that he give her the real name of his apprentice and when he refuses she rips it from his mind. Koz is stunned that a Jedi would do such a thing and when she turns to leave he attacks. Belinda, however, saving one last trick, skewers Koz through the torso with the second blade of her lightsaber. Koz remarks that he has never met a Jedi so devious and she states that he never will again and removes his head.
She receives thanks from the Station Commander and they look forward to exploring the planet. Belinda, on the other hand sets out for Coruscant.
Back on the Muffin Marty leads the ship to Loshvuk and with the Brain and Bob watching on, he, Shauna, Red and TAG beam down to try and rescue Bob.
After bypassing security through Shauna's skills and Red's natural talent they finally find Bob hooked up to some kind of machine. They unhook him while Marty deals with the creature that captured him before. Bob feigns complete memory loss but they eventually get him up and out when Marty throws a "thermal detonator."?
Back on the ship Bob berates Marty for not noticing he was in the complex when he was there earlier what with being a Jedi and all. Dr. Notio gives Bob a clean and nonrobot bill of health and Bob checks with Shauna about the rather eerie situation of his robot head being examined.
With all that has happened they had back to Alliance space, cautiously optimistic.
