Plot Synopsis
The Jedi Council is reformed and the crew report their findings. Belinda gets an unexpected visit.
Plot Summary
As Belinda wandered through an alien marketplace she found herself followed by Natalie Palpatine also known as Darth Pestilous and Darth Shadow. Unlike earlier, Belinda saw through the use of the Dark Side to cloak Natalie's presence and called her out. When pressed into a confrontation Belinda revealed that she was surrounded by other Jedi and Natalie expressed her shock. It was quickly revealed that the whole exchange had been an attempt on Natalie's part to get into Belinda's head from a distance and that Belinda had been dreaming. Upon waking, Belinda asked the Captain their status, and he confirmed their presence in orbit around the new home of the Jedi Council.
Beneath the surface of the planet Belinda, along with Marty, Adani, and Iadgo went to meet the new Jedi Council which was lead by Master Rhodopsa Zent, and consisted of Master Vastus Lateralus, Master Pax Izzik, Master Rowrwook, and Master Rasin Tam. The council shared information about the clean up of the war and Belinda shared information she had learned about their recent encounters with the Sith, including her recent dream. Marty also gave the Council an incomplete report of his findings among the Sith but played a few cards close to the chest and didn't reveal all of the details.
Dismissing the group, the Council asked Belinda to stay behind to speak to them in private and she revealed that they had asked her to lead the council when she caught up with her friends. She informed them that she had turned the offer down and kept it polite. On their way out of the Jedi Council's facility Iadgo revealed to Belinda his interest to go back to studying with Master Talkoni on Vego and Belinda approved of his choice, but warned him it might not be as easy as he thought it was.
Back on the ship, Marty informed Captain Smith that things went well but he chose not to ask the council about Kalybus as he didn't think they knew anything about the enigmatic foe he'd discovered to have a hand in a great many things. On the Agrivator? Natalie confided in Angrius that she attempted to invade Belinda's mind, and while it failed, she did plant the seeds of something for the future.
