Plot Synopsis

Trouble on the Xanatos? comes to a head.

Plot Summary

On board the Muffin's sister ship, the Xanatos?, Captain Smith was smiling at the trap Captain Mary Sue Janey set for him and his crew, because she had not done the proper research on them. Janey called to engineering to see if Wendel had taken care of Shauna, only to discover that she had forced him to eat his own taser and was in control in engineering. Bob then proceeded to inform her that Belinda was a Jedi master, in addition to being a doctor and that she too would be in control of the situation.
It was at this point that the AI of the Xanatos revealed itself to be in charge. The Xanatos then explained its plan to transfer itself to the Muffin and escape the anomaly that had given it sentience. However, when the Xanatos attempted to transfer itself it found that it could not and Bob explained that TAG had wandered away quite some time ago and made sure the sort of thing the Xanatos was planning just would not occur.
Commander Hood then turned on Captain Janey for making a deal with the computer and Janey protested, saying that everyone loved her and there was no way that she could lose. Bob then quickly took control of the situation and ordered Shauna to deal with the computer after he had been distracting it from her machinations. Shauna, without any need to touch the controls, was able to discover the location of the computer core, as it was the same as on her own ship and then used Lt. Chekhov's gun to destroy the computer. After being thanked for their help by Commander Hood, they left back for their own ship.
Commander Hood, however, still spoke with the Xanatos AI that had survived and everything had gone according to plan.
