Plot Synopsis

Going to the rescue of their sister ship, the crew of the Muffin encounter some unexpected surprises.

Plot Summary

The Muffin went to the rescue of their sister ship, the Xanatos? which was trapped near an anomaly producing a tropic field, which created an enhanced amount of literary devices in the area. The Captain put together a five man band to take over to the ship when they could not raise the ship on the comms. Shauna took a moment to get a Chekhov's gun, that only had one shot before going over to the Xanatos.
On board the Xanatos, the Captain encounters an old rival of his, Captain Mary Sue Janey. She was very competitive with Bob when they were in the academy and Mary Sue always won. Bob's bitterness definitely came through. Shauna heads to the engine room to help them with their problem and Belinda joins their doctor to assist with a problem. Leaving Captain Smith and Marty to head to the bridge.
Very quickly things went downhill as Captain Janey orders the crew restrained and it appeared that Belinda and Shauna would be ambushed. Captain Janey has her ensign inform that that "it's a trap," and it was to be continued.
