Plot Synopsis
Darth Noyance and the other Dark Jedi face a dangerous foe on Teviri.
Plot Summary
The Governator? detects a strange signal from the planet's surface that for a moment appears to be a personal cloaking device, but it is quickly dismissed as a shrouded form tracks Barada with heat vision.
Elsewhere on the planet Darth Noyance wakes up in a tree and tries to very carefully avoid plummeting to the ground, which he does not manage. On the ground he is quickly confronted by two Sithites sent to aide in the suspense, but before they can attack him, energy blasts kill both the Sithites. Moments later a armored figure decloaks in front of Noyance but does not appear to see him as he drags the Sithite bodies away. While Noyance muses about why he was not seen Tyn tries to offer his insight only to be shot by the Predator. Noyance realizes the Predator must see heat as his suit is insulated, and decides to find the others and warn them, even if they are trying to kill him.
Barada is less than receptive to the warnings, however and Noyance is forced to fight him. Noyance strikes him with Force Lightening to subdue him but knocks him out completely and decides to wait till he wakes up. While waiting Dengaa appears and challanges Noyance to a fight as Noyance tries to explain the situation. Hashi appears as well and she is not particularly receptive to his warnings either. The group grows larger when Chris appears and blames Noyance for Barada's apparent death, promising to avenge him.
As things grow heated Dengaa loses an arm to an energy blast and suddenly Noyance's warnings seem very valid. Barada attacks the Predator and while he holds his own briefly the Predator draws a Yautja combistaff? and kills Barada with it. Chris attempts to avenge Barada but while he is able to disarm the Predator, a pair of Yautja wristblades? makes quick work of Chris, and Dengaa and Noyance run, leaving Hashi to deal with the Predator.
Adani soon comes across several mounted skulls that look suspiciously like her fellow Dark Jedi, but without skin. Adani then stumbles across Noyance and Dengaa and the situation is explained to her. When Dengaa decides to betray the other two the Predator's lock switches from Noyance to him and a Yautja shurikan? removes his head.
Noyance and Adani hide for a while but decide to make a break for it, running into Nikto who is intent on challenging Noyance. After a brief fight Noyance points out that perhaps the Predator is a bigger threat and Nikto focuses her rage on it. As Noyance and Adani flee they hear the screams of Nikto fighting the Predator and know the outcome.
Noyance and Adani come across Darth Creepius who is ready to take one of them back to ship as long as they kill the other. Adani refuses and Noyance doesn't hesitate to electrocute her. As Creepius accepts him into the fold, Noyance throws a last bit of lightening to resusictate Adani before they leave, giving her at least a fighting chance.
Adani celebrates her life until seeing the Predator, who oddly, does not attack her but bids her follow. She follows the Predator to his ship?, where he removes her mask and Adani finds it to be Nikto, having killed the Predator and taken his armor. They decide to leave together and find a way to get revenge on Darth Noyance.
