Plot Synopsis

An old friend calls to Captain Smith for a favor.

Plot Summary

Magnus Powers, an old friend of the Captain's showed up in a shuttle? and called in a favor from Bob. Bob immediately took off, telling Shauna that he loved her and indicating that he might not come back. Bob and Magnus headed out to rescue the daughter of a friend of Magnus's. Mangus explained that an organization that was "one part criminal organization and one part crazy ass cult" had kidnapped the girl because of her mother's scientific research.
They slipped into the compound with the intent of being stealthy first and blowing things up, if necessary. The blowing things up began much faster than Bob anticipated. During the firefight they began to reminisce about old times and instead Bob suggested that after it was over that he buy Magnus a beer. Using the canisters around them they caused several large explosions and made their escape from the firefight and get Clara out of the holding cell they had placed her in. She was very excited to see Magnus and was even able to provide an idea for their escape. Though Clara's captures were able to catch up with them at the reactor, just before they could make their way out of the compound.
Bob and Magnus argued about Magnus holding them off and during the distracting conversation Magnus was shot in the back and fell over the rails, much to Bob's horror. He gathered his resolve and followed Clara out of the compound and took her back to her mother.
Back on the ship, Bob sat down at the bar, ordered and beer and let it sit there, for Magnus.
