Plot Synopsis
The crew of the Muffin sets out to explore the galaxy and hijinks ensue.
Plot Summary
The Muffin leaves spacedock at Starbase 42 but doesn't disable docking clamps until after the first attempt at leaving. This causes some damage that is quickly repaired. Captain Smith then attempts to work out the stardate system and gives up after interference from Lt. Jasper. A red alert is caused and then averted when it is realized that it was only a video game that Lt. Cunningham was playing. Marty faces problems entering the bridge when the "door mechanism" fails and Shauna causes Johnny some personal injury when he hits on her.
The end of this episode features a teaser for the appearance of Darth Angrius.

- The phrase "duck and cover" used in the first episode appeared again here where it was an attempt to turn it into a catch phrase that has since failed.
