Star Trek, and more specifically Star Trek: The Next Generation is the basis for the structure of the crew, ship and galactic organization of Legostar Galactica. Many of the created races in the comic are based on races of Star Trek, such as the nuzzalari being based on vulcans, synari being based on klingons, and the remulans based on romulans.
