Targo 9 was a planet heavy in mineral deposits that was used by the Alliance for mining purposes.

Geography

Targo 9 was primarily a lifeless rock, but it contained a number of important mineral deposits and thus stations were set up across the planet to exploit these.

History

Targo 9 served as one of the major mining planets for the Alliance, providing a number of minerals important in ship construction. For a brief period Jedi Master Koz used Targo 9 as a base of operations. It was here that his own apprentice betrayed him and left him to be captured after killing Jedi Master Maz.
