Chulak

Chulak was the Jaffa homeworld.

Geography

Chulak was considerably colder year round than many other planets like it, and boasted primarily temperate forests closer to its equator and frozen tundra closer to the poles.

History

The Goa'uld transported humans to Chulak in the early years before humans spread throughout the galaxy and genetically modified them to act as incubators for their larval hosts. Thus it was on Chulak that the Jaffa began.
