Scanning Chamber
Scanning Chambers were general medical devices used to detect abnormalities and injuries over an entire body.
History
When simple scanners were simply not enough to do the job, scanning chambers were employed. Designed before handheld scanners, scanning chambers were multipurpose scanners that grew from MRI and CAT Scan machines.
Construction
Filled to the brim with scanning equipment since size was not an issue, scanning chambers allowed for dozens of diagnostic procedures all at once and though not practical for routine or portable uses were excellent when problems could not be easily discerned.
