Neural Clamp

Neural Clamps were restraints that prevented normal mental function and made the restrainee respond to commands.

History

Designed as a crude version of mind control for those without sufficient mental powers to psychically restrain, neural clamps were often damaging to those they enslaved and often resulted in permanent brain damage. Those placed under neural clamps were rarely the same afterward if not in a permanent vegetative state.

Construction

Neural clamps utilized a nano-boring technology to insert nanofibers into the brain stem and override the lifeforms own brain patterns with whatever the master of the neural clamps wanted.
