History
For prisoners too strong or too sly to put in normal chains, force resistant chains quickly became the restraint of choice. First devised as a way to deal with powered people who could easily force their way out of even the heaviest chains, the shock produced by force resistant chains was enough to incapacitate even the strongest of individuals.
Construction
Made out of durable and highly conductive materials, force resistant chains used a tension system which produced an electrical charge when too much strain was put on the chains. But placing the chains in positions around the captive any movement too far in any direction became cause for the chains to activate.
