History
The first Delorean turned into a time machine was built in 1985 on Earth and after that point it became a standard of mobile time machines.
Construction
Built out of the shell of a standard Delorean, time travel components were added to create a machine that when traveling at 88 miles per hour would be able to breach the time-space barrier and travel through time.
