Defibrillator
Defibrillators were medical equipment designed to use an electric charge to restart humanoid cardiac systems.
History
Developed on Earth in the 20th century, defibrillators were used to stimulate cardiac rhythm when that system had come to a stop. Over the centuries the technology changed very little, only becoming easier to use and safer on the user and the patient.
Construction
Designed simply to produce an electrical charge across the pacemaker system of the heart, defibrillators could deliver a life safe shock and restart most humanoid hearts in the same way they could human hearts.
