Pylesian
Pylesians were an aquatic race of humanoids capable of breathing water an air.
Biology and Appearance
Pylesians had grey rubbery skin and gills in addition to lungs. Their respiratory system intertwined the two in a complex way allowing for both air and water breathing.
Society and Culture
Pylesian society was based around a complex code of ethics and conduct called the Maro Vodin, which laid down the rules for almost every situation.
History
Pylesian history was full of violence and misunderstanding until the Maro Vodin was established. Though the years that followed were brutal the end result was an extremely stable society.
