Momus
Momus were a gastrophoid humanoid species with incredible memories and digestive capacities.
Biology and Appearance
Momus were humanoid gastropods who at one point in their evolution lived in shells. They evolved out of living in shells and adopted softer clothing, though some of their attire is often made of chitin. They had two eye stalks and a set of three feelers over their beak-like mouths. Their digestive tract was one of the most impressive in the galaxy and they were capable of digesting almost anything.
Society and Culture
Momus society was extremely nomadic and large cities did not exist on their home world. Once they gained the ability to reach out into the galaxy they furthur exemplified their nomadic lifestyle by forming small collectives on ships that were on the move constantly.
History
The history of the momus was passed down by oral tradition, rather than written down. Because of the momus's exceptional memory, this history was relatively accurate. Because of their nomadic nature there was constant conflict between tribes and this often lead to bloody wars between groups over land and resource disputes.
