Kashyyyk was the heavily forested homeworld of the wookie.

Geography

Kashyyyk was covered almost entirely with massive trees. The surface of the planet itself was highly inhospitable, but the wookie population lived among the tree tops.

History

Kashyyyk's history was full of brave warriors and somber poets. The wookie people never attempted to venture to the stars, heading out into the galaxy only after the Alliance found them.
