Hepron Prime was an Alliance outpost that served as a way station for goods, services, and transport.

Geography

Hepron Prime was a desolate world with no atmosphere or significant mineral resources to exploit. Several domed stations were built on the surface to serve as colonial cities.

History

The Alliance settled Hepron Prime early in its history to use as a port and way station after surveying the small planet and finding it to lack natural resources and any needed resources, but that it was close to several intergalactic borders and could serve as a military and civilian outpost. Its proximity to Coruscant made it a good planet to take on much of the illegal trade within the Alliance while staying out of the Alliance capital.
