Geography

Betazed was consistently described as a lush, beautiful world. The planet's climate varied from dense jungles to wide canyons and cliffs. Many of the major continents were dotted with lakes.

History

Though a member of the Alliance, Betazed was still ruled by a matriarchy, as it had been for generations. Betazed remained on good terms with its neighbors throughout the centuries and was a strong contributing member of the Alliance.
