Trihelium
Trihelium was an ultra stable crystal made up of three helium atoms each bound to two others. The trihelium crystal formation made it ideal for focusing and concentrating erratic energy like those used to power warp drives. Most engine technology in and around the Alliance used a trihelium crystal system. Trihelium devices did not function well or at all on tech dead worlds. Several star systems were rich in trihelium crystals, but the most notable was a world called Blargon 7.
