Legoes tells the story of how, in the 21st Century, ordinary people discover they have extraordinary powers. The story begins with Red receiving a letter from his aunt Redwina telling him about the 'dark secret' of his past but connects into the crew of the Muffin's present and future. It takes place in four chapters:
