Skreet
Skreets were batlike creatures that aggressively attacked anyone who stumbled into their territory by suicide dive-bombing them.
Biology and Appearance
Skreets were often thickly armored and hung from the ceilings of caverns and ruins by their feet. They would lay dormant until disturbed and then in a spinning, screaming fashion, dive-bomb intruders, often resulting in their own demise.
History
Skreets appeared in a number of climates on a number of worlds and whether they were evolved from a single progenitor or if somehow that strange set of genetic traits appeared independently is unknown.
