Biology and Appearance
Though the jumb appeared as small toadstool-like mushrooms, they had a complex interconnected network of fibrous roots that stretched sometimes across many acres. What in fact appeared to be a field of many jumb, was in fact a single organism with many stalks protruding from the surface.
History
Other than their expansive nature very little was remarkable about the jumb. They did not serve as a good food source and produced very few chemicals helpful in research or medicine.
