Terwin is captain of the Sylven Glade within the Star Pirates game universe.
Biography
Early Childhood
His early training used some experimental techniques that left him highly skilled but even less stable than normal.
Secondary Education
Terwin was passed back and forth between a number of instructors. None of those instructors was interested in having a proficient but highly unstable pupil, so they sent him off to train with a master in the asteroid belt around Sol.
2350 and Beyond
After accidentally killing the captain and first officer of a sloop that was raiding the transport taking him to the belt, he decided that he should try independent study funded by the donations of nearby transports.
Due in equal parts to being unpredictable, intelligent and no small amount of pure dumb luck; he has been highly successful, upgrading his ship a number of times and is currently piloting a Warship Mk III.
Along the way he found that he needed another officers and hired first Conifer, then LuckyJim.
Due to Conifers tendency to delegate, LuckyJim has had the benefits of all of Terwin's helpful improvements. (usually applied while he is being re-built from a pile of smoking body parts)
The crew consist primarily of robots, that all seem to have developed some sort of nervous tick. (generally expressed as something remarkably similar to running in terror for some strange reason)
