Rebellious children are always a problem, though in this case less so than in Star Wars canon. The layout of their house is based heavily on the Married with Children living room.

I feel like it makes sense that Padme would be in politics and that she would have someone like Nute Gunray on the city council being an annoying prick.
Again, I just find the every day life thing amusing. The idea of Dooku, Maul, and Vader not only working out together but socializing after work just makes me smile. You can see them with Dooku as the long time company man, Vader as the guy who’s been there for a while, and Maul as the young go getter. Even though that’s not the order they were sith, their various ages at the time give me that impression. Or maybe that’s just me.
That’s My Vader, Anikan, Mr. Palpatine
That’s My Vader was initially brought up here. For many years I thought the concept of a sitcom based in the star wars universe would be very entertaining. Since then I’ve seen various similar sorts of things, which makes me happy that people have come up with the same sorts of things. I like the idea of the Skywalker family remaining together and Darth Vader being a somewhat dishevled father. In this context I see Vader as a mix of his Star Wars self and a little bit of Al Bundy.
I’m not really sure what my reasoning was with having a descendant of Bobby Flay on there was.

Must be talented, it’s not like you see a lot of daleks getting into the performing arts.
It’s important that people are aware of their poor song choices, even when they didn’t make them.
Galactic Idol, Boba Fett, Kayla Waif, Somkar, Kara DioGuardi, Sel’tac, Jar Jar Binks
I’ve never been particularly impressed with American Idol. I’m okay with Kelly Clarkson and the Carrie Underwood’s music, and I think it’s really amusing that Jennifer Hudson, who only got as far as 7th place went on to win an Oscar, a far more significant honor. I do feel pretty good about the fact that this whole pop star mass production thing just isn’t working out all that well, every once in a while you get some kind of… let’s use the word “quality” but mostly you just end up with 15 minutes of fame, like any other reality show, and then it’s over and we don’t have to hear about people anymore.
