Love Songs with Deanna Troi, Deanna Troi
Many of you outside the US may not be familiar with “Love Songs with Delilah.” It’s possible there are many of you in the US that haven’t heard of her, or heard her. I envy all of you. When I was younger, middle school and highschool aged, I could turn on the radio (yes, an actual radio, calm yourselves) and listen to “Love Songs” in the evening. They were often sappy but, you know, that’s what love songs are, but it was just the music. Kinda how like MTV and VH1 once played music videos. I’m not sure at exactly what point “Love Songs” became more talk radio than it did actual music, but it kinda sours the whole experience for me.
Agreed. “Love Songs with Delilah” is awful! Why do we need to be psychotherapists to anyone who has a phone to call in? Can’t we just hear some music? Actually, there’s *way* too much talking in general on the radio, and those DJs aren’t even half as funny or entertaining as they’d like to believe.
Peripherally, why does Deanna look so grim??
