The Lightsaber is the main close-combat weapon used by both Jedi and Sith.
History
Construction
Lightsabers consist of hilt wich holds a 'blade' of about one inch (I did not measure) like normal swords. The blade however is not made of metal but of a highly concentrated and focust energy loop wich results in a bright colored and shiny blade. This blade can cut trough most known matters, creatures and armour. It also can be used to deflect projectiles and other weapons.
In the LG story many forms of lightsabers are know. The most common are the green (mainly used by Jedi) en red (mainly used by sith) sword like sabers.
Other known types in LG:
- Dual blue blade light saber, like the normal one, but it has a blade at each side. Used by a wannabe Sith named Barada.
- Twin blue blade saber claws. Used by a wannabe Sith named Chris Klaatu.
- Dueling Form II red blade saber. Looks like the normal one, but has a bend in the hilt. Used by the captain.
- Red blade saber batons. Used by a wannabe Sith named Ambar Nikto.
- Ra To'kash hooksaber. It's like a pirate hook. But than in lightsaber form. Used by wannabe Sith Dengaa Kurib.
- purple lightsaber, used by a Jedi named Tyn. He was killed by Martin and haunts him since then).
