Maybe, just maybe, Belinda instead of becoming a Sith is becoming a Dark Jedi. For those that don’t know a Dark Jedi is a Jedi that still believes in the Jedi way but has left the order and uses a mix of the light and dark sides to achieve their goals.
They are detailed in the Star War role playing game.
Belinda walks the line between light and dark, whether she is a gray Jedi or a dark Jedi depends mainly on her motivation for killing the sith, whether or not she considers her to be a major threat to herself and others and whether or not Belinda is certain that her desire to be in prison is part of a plot that will cause far more chaos and destruction.
My EU SW lore is long gone … it has grown so much since I could devote time to it.
But I think I read somewhere official-ish? (probably not), that the Gray Jedi were those who didn’t cut it/make it through all of the training or were “hedge wizards” with apprentices. Still could use the force but not as awesome with the force as Jedi & Sith were.
I think deep down, any given sith couldn’t care less about what the Sith achieves as a group. To be a Sith Lord, you have to crave power at any cost, and you really won’t get any satisfaction knowing the person who just killed you is going to be a more powerful Sith than you were. it’d probably just make it that much more annoying.
Isn’t that the whole philosophy of the Rule of Two, though? (Plus preventing infighting in a larger group of course) Make sure that only an even stronger Sith will succeed the master.
”If you kill me then you will be just as bad as me.”
”I’m fine with that.”
Yeah, somehow I think Natalie might be okay with her death if it created an even more powerful Sith.
