“Best” case scenario they get a fake informant who is either feeding them false information purposely or they get a real informant whose loyalties are known and is feeding them fake information.
Worst case scenario, all these assassination attempts have caused them to investigate Magnus and the Dark Council…..
Well since we know who runs in now. I am not surprised she has stayed a step ahead. This thorn in their side is going to get more annoying as time progresses or regresses. To quote Bob “Time travel gives me a headache” LOL
Last I checked I don’t think she technically got here by time travel. Er, she did, but she didn’t- she time-traveled to the future and then went back to the past (which was at the time the real world present) before living up to the present/future- argh now I agree with Bob.

Was thinking along the same lines … Section 13 is probably doing/thinking the same thing to them!
