The only problem I have with that statement is that we still haven’t seen a verified comic of it actually happening in this comic. 😀 I suspect many things could’ve happened to Lieutenant Gibb, we just won’t be allowed to know for sure what they were, or if they actually happened.
I half expect a Second String comic with a Lieutenant Gibb floating out from an airlock is out there somewhere, it just hasn’t been published yet! 😀 As always, publish or perish – in this case, the thought, that is! 😀
It certainly looks like Belinda taught Lieutenant Emilia Bashford a thing or two about protocol in this strip! 😀
She never said he wasn’t wearing a spacesuit when he was fired out of the airlock. It could have been disciplinary instead of murder. Straighten up or next time you won’t get the suit!
She also never said she let him back, but maybe it was on some orbit near station and he was able to get there.
