Dr. Sandra Corran, Magnus Powers
Those of you who were unconvinced by his death were correct. Of course he is a villain now but Samuel L. Jackson is so good at playing both, why not?

Has it been explained anywhere as to how Captain Robert Smith got the nickname of “Bob”, if his first name is Robert? 😀
Bob is short for Robert. That’s pretty standard.
I would’ve thought “Rob” would be more appropriate, given that the short form usually follows with the same letter as the long form. Geez, how naming conventions have changed! 😀
Well, a more extreme case is that Dick is a nickname for someone named Richard (like Dick’s sporting goods store).
And Jack is somehow short for John
Don’t forget, Bob’s evil twin is/was called Rob.
And that particular evolution is nothing compared to some – Polly is a form of Margaret, of all things!
That’s actually from a very old naming convention.
Rob is also short for Robert.
Before this story arc is finished, one of these two people will be dead or severely maimed. Since we’re dealing with crew who haven’t been aboard the Muffin I reckon it’ll be the former, but only time will tell! 😀
Space Nick Fury, how could you??
And now would be about the time that the backup Bob sent without telling them should reveal themselves…..give or take a strip or two.
I think you need to reread the last couple of weeks, the backup was Jeff the Ninja. What did your brain do, fall into a superweapon coolant cell? 😀
Jeff was Johnnys’ backup. He stopped being Johnnys backup when they got back to the Muffin and reported to Bob. Now, that doesn’t mean that Jeff couldn’t be reassigned to be someone elses backup, so Jeff could be here. But, odds are, it’d be a different Ninja.
