Just to clarify for those not familiar, “pumpkin spice” is not pumpkin at all, but rather the kind of spices one would put in pumpkin pie, ie cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, etc. While it is very tasty in coffee and the like, the trend has gone completely overboard during the fall and holiday seasons for the past couple of years, IMO. I saw pumpkin spice Trisket crackers this year, for crying out loud!
I didn’t even know “pumpkin spice” was a thing in the US before I read your comic. It certainly isn’t in my country.
It’s sold as “pumpkin pie spice” and is a blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice and cloves.
