Well, this *is* the LG-verse, not the Dr. Who universe! 😀 Weeping Angels from here apparently can be on whoever’s side they want! And if you wanna argue the point with one, be my guest, it was nice knowing you! 😉
Huh, I don’t remember that part, so now I’m trying to guess how an Angel would accomplish such a complex task (given their peculiarities) as asking for directions. I guess I’ll need to re-read it…
The piece is made of clear plastic so that it can be used on a variety of figures without worrying about clashing or mismatched colors. (Yes, it would be nice if every piece was colored to blend in perfectly, but Lego has costs and other concerns.)
I knew there had to be something significant about the Angel, given that the fountain it was standing on comes with a perfectly good statue, one that can even be given a couple of different looks with the pieces in the set. Thus, this wasn’t just a case of, “I need a statue. I’ll just use this Weeping Angel figure and hope nobody notices.” It had to be a conscious decision to use that figure.
Hahah. Weaponized Weeping Angel. I never thought I’d see the day. XD
I didn’t think Weeping Angels took any side but their own.

Perhaps it IS on its own side, and for now, that happens to be the same side as Our Heroes. Who knows when or if that will change? Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Previously there was one asking for directions so I guess they have learned diplomacy and getting along with others over the years.

… Wait is that a collar?
On the Angel?
In story it might be, if the good Doctor wants it to be, but in reality it’s a piece that holds the wings in place! 🙂
… Why’d they make that piece so damn shiny then? it shoulda been made to blend in to the rest of the figure.

The thing is, that hasn’t stopped TLG from making multiple colors of molds in the past. 😀
I’m liking Shauna’s relatives a lot! So much, I reckon they’ll get crew assignments on the Muffin – if they want them! 😀
Well holy fucking shit, i figured it was a fake-out to mess with the readers…
Never saw that one coming.
Yep, same here. Thought it was a trick and didn’t see that one at all

They use a weeping angel as a guard dog? Holy carp!
