I’d take that seriously. There was no necessity for the author to change the layout, which revealed the weeping angel to us. He could continued as before with the conversation.
But this was intentional. But haven’t Bob or Shauna met them before? Or at least heard about them?
And what about the mysteriously upward vanished guests?
“And what about the mysteriously upward vanished guests?”
I assumed they were just flying off. since it was j’onn j’onzz and vision and they can both fly as well as phase.
but yeah, I’m still keeping my eyes on that goddamn statue. its lucky minifigs are incapable of blinking…
Uh, guys?
Between panels 1 and 2 the weeping angel moved in relation to the table. Angles between table, angel, and green curtain were changed.
Follow the seam on the floor panel and it becomes a bit more obvious that we have a mobile weeping angel.
The table is one peg closer to the angel, it was moved to the left. In the first panel the fruit bowl is not centered on the angel, but to the right of it’s pillar.
Which since all other objects were not moved, and that seam in the floor makes it too obvious should the angel, Shauna or the betrothed move, I’d say this was an intentional hinting that the angel turned in place.
You are mistaken, in all of the shots in the comic, it has not moved one stud. Also, there are multiple tables. 😀 If it was a thing, I’m pretty sure Dr. Legostar would’ve confirmed your theory by now or at the very least replied with something one way or the other.
LOOK OUT!!!
Its a Weeping Angel!
Don’t Blink!
Would have been funnier if it had changed position between panels! 🙂

That’s a change of *camera* angle! 😀
