As romantic as taking your girl to the first place you met and fell in love with her, there might be some minor exceptions to that.
Also, from the episode title there are probably still Predators around.
Apparently, Marty thinks that the part with the killing is one of these “and later, we’ll all laugh about it” stories.
You know, the romance could go “full circle” and she could kill him, then bring him back too.
