Hmm. Given that Lester *does* appear to be named after Bester, I wonder if Coombs is letting him off too lightly by just thinking that it was a misunderstanding…
Lester appears to be named for Babylon 5’s Mr Bester, a telepath villain who frequently had a hidden agenda. So basically, rather than Lester being confused about the details of the plot, I think it’s possible he knows about the whole thing and helped Coombs figure it out for sinister reasons of his own.
What bothers me is this is called convoluted. But I had no trouble following it. Does that mean it is straight forward, or my own thoughts are pretty messed up?
I thought it was pretty straightforward too. I really don’t get why Bob is having trouble with this, he’s usually on top of what’s going on, even when the plot was much more complicated.
Does his knowing about the Senator duty really work in his favor since he is a telepath?
Against Bob it does, the other two telepaths can’t read him either.

Huh?

I suppose it won’t be much trouble to figure out which show I’ve never actually seen.
For those of you who didn’t guess, it’s Cop Rock (also, who’s Lester?).
How did he discover he’s got suppressed memories? I can never quite figure that part out. 😀
