I’m honestly not sure if Larry was ever really Larry, or if he was always Father Dagon in disguise.
Father Dagon looked like this last time we saw him. Since then I purchased this set and knew that next time we saw him he would have his current appearance. Given the propensity for the Old Ones to change their shapes I fee like this is justified.
It actually makes me want to go back and redo those comics seeing as I have a better Dagon and an actual LEGO goat I could have used for Shub Niggurath.
I can see Dr. Legostar redoing those comics, what I can’t see him doing is redoing every comic in between to hide the sudden change from good to better and back again! 😀
If you wanted to do this as a part of a general comic overhaul from the beginning, I wouldn’t mind at all, however! 😀
I like the original dragon and goat. They have a certain rustic or primitive charm about them. 🙂
Is it weird that I almost imagine the “live-action” version of Dagon showing his face to be like Large Marge’s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPMSGTfK4Aw moment?
An important battle taking place around the same time as the comic’s anniversary? It’s not as if that has happened before.

or, maybe Dagon is using Larry as a conduit into the King in Yellow’s realm.
Ok, that was good. And now I wonder, how the heck do you show a fight between two cosmic horrors, when everything’s changing? Except, the King in Yellow isn’t changing, is he. Hmm.
In the jaded-humor spirit of this webcomic in the past, this battle would be a blank screen with a card saying something like, “10 hours of unimaginable horror later…” and then transition to the aftermath. Nowadays, who knows what the Dr. has in store for us? Can’t wait to see it though!
Whaaaaaaaaat?
