OK. I’ll admit I’m not clear on why Shauna used the Mark 42. I’m also not clear on what caused the “clang” noise by the KiY or the “clink” noise by Shauna. Nor do I know what it is that she’s holding.
I might be getting a couple of the details wrong, but: during the climax of Iron Man 3, Tony Stark attaches remote-controlled pieces of the Mark 42 armor to the villain in order to immobilize him. Presumably the same thing is going on here, with Shauna preventing the KiY from fleeing the portal device.
Admittedly, the art isn’t as clear as it could be, possibly because it’s not easy to show this with LEGO.
I too have no idea what just happened, nor indeed how far back in the archives I would have to go to remind myself of what a Mark 42 is supposed to be.
I guess now all we can do is wonder what’s going to go horribly wrong.
I’m not a big comics guy, so could someone tell me what’s going on with the suit?

Thx. I was confused too. Good plot device.
At first I thought there was some sort of invisible wall that he sped into.
