Robin’s still got a bee in his bonnet about the ‘four lights’ thing. 😀
And he doesn’t seem to realize they should get the hell out of there, because the rest of the crew of the Muffin are going to start taking attacks to the next level! 😉
Deprivation of any sense of time might be yet another technique Granus uses to break the spirit of his victims. (Although on the other hand, who even THINKS about setting up a clock in a torture room??)
Being in a completely artificial environment like a starship, where any sense of “day” and “night” is a product of the crew’s circadian cycle(s) and not dependent on astrological phenomenon like sunrises/sunsets would be perfect for that, actually.

not even a Birds of America clock that chrips on the hour?

Actually, it almost certainly is part of his technique. No sense of time means disorientation, which plays perfectly into the hands of the torturer.
Did they made a prisoner? There’s one hostile sitting on his butt there in the last panel.
Is that Snake Pliskin?
