The Doc usually does a great job of conveying action with pictures of plastic figures, but this seems like a particularly leisurely chase scene. Are they supposed to all be sort of walking?
The Secret Weapon “knows” that he has our heroes trapped in a dead-end corridor with no way out but through him and his troops, so, naturally, he’s going to allow them time to realise their predicament while he savors the anticipation…
Personally, I think it’s about even odds whether the bad guys will walk into an ambush, or round the corner to find an empty dead end…
People running are usually leaning forward, right? For our favorite plastic bricks, leaning forward would put the faces in shadow, or lead to an unnecessarily complicated shot for this particular narrow-hallway set (it would be easier to achieve on an away adventure to an open land). So, I like the “we’ll take a leisurely stroll because our prey is cornered” explanation here!
I was thinking of Darth Vader when he said “All Too Easy” as he tried to freeze Luke in carbonite.
Also … from her first statement, “They think they know their ship … this is far too easy …” you would think her brain would kick in and say “Now, waitaminute …”
But hey, you need stupid bad guys to move the plot along, right? LOL
*sigh* Slashing, here we come.
And for his next act, he’s gonna wish he’d never been created! 😉
Wow, I never realized just how *creepy*-looking the minifig head you use for the Secret Weapon is. Brrr.
Shame it probably won’t do him that much good.
Guy just broke Evil overlord/badguy code #6, “I will not gloat over my enemies’ predicament before killing them”
“This is far too easy.” Spoken like someone who’s never had Shauna cornered.
”Too easy” is usually a codeword for ambush.
This is far too easy
How hard can it be?
What the worst that can happen?
This ship is unsinkable
They will never find out
Hey Bubba, watch this
These are all famous last words

“But that corner is NOW a dead end.” Thus indicating that they’ve renovated a bit and it used to not be a dead end.
