It’s really difficult to show any sort of substantial physical contact between LEGO minifigures.  Even a hug is kinda a pain in the butt to make work.  This is the best I could accomplish.  It doesn’t really convey they kind of hug I would imagine them sharing, but it is what it is.

If two minifigs hug each other, they should both be slightly off-vertical and embracing one another that way. Well, at least IMHO. 😀 But, nevertheless, well done! 😉

  2. Mr. Speck says:

Next time you could try moving them right next to each other on the baseplate. Not sure if the arms would get in the way, though.

    • LordVargonius says:

The arms, and the minfigure waists, do get in the way. I know, I’ve tried the same thing before. If the hugging minifigures have to be attached to a baseplate – which is the best way, unless you want them to look like their leaning hard sideways – this is probably the best that can be done.

OK, why aren’t the Iron man suits in an even line? Was that just a limited space thing or is there some significance for it?

Plus, where did you get all of those different versions?

    • Useless says:

The hands overlap a bit. He could have posed the arms a little to make room, but it doesn’t look as clean.

Like the way Shauna is lined up behind the Iron Man schematic there – foreshadowing? 🙂

    • BrickVoid says:

That’s likely coincidence on Dr. Legostar’s part, it is therefore completely intentional! 😀

I actually think the hug came off well, given the limits of the minifigures. It looks to me like Shauna and her mother are actually leaning into the hug, not at the point where they would be hugging (yet)
