I’d say that kinda counts as a badass boast.

Oy, Jupiter Ascending. Rarely has any trailer soured me on a movie as much as that one did.
I’m not seeing it like a badass boast, for two reasons: 1. I don’t see Robin as being this type of character. 2. It implies that he’s going to suddenly break free and kick his enemies like a hero. I’m not sure Robin will actually do such things. 😉
If you ask me, what he’s really boasting about is his ability to imagine pain (sick name for like, a black metal band or something, btw) which, as abilities to imagine pain go, is relatively badass
Spaceballs is a great movie, and John Candy does a great job as the requisite sidekick. RIP, sir.
