This is pretty close to an actual conversation between my father-in-law, my wife, and myself. He kept trying to get her to say things that might get her in trouble with members of her mother’s side of the family. Then came the more symmetrical thing. I reacted pretty closely to Waines in the comic. More symmetrical than a basketball? Really? Sometimes I just don’t know.
